The Rise of Electro-Soul, an Interview With Arcnhemesis

This weekend Archnemesis played at It’ll do club in Dallas. I had a chance to catch up with them before their set. Since we talked to them last,  the duo has been busy.  They have been every where from Camp disco and Hangout to a Midwest run and playing their annual summer hometown show in Charleston, South Carolina.

Their new album will drop on September 4th and it will be a FREE download.  The “album is a culmination of what [they've] be doing” lately. With such a torrid concert and festival schedule the two have had to work on this album anywhere they can steal a few minutes.  From hotel rooms to green rooms, they can turn pretty much any location into a studio. Their core production software is Abelton which allows them such flexibility.

The group says that ‘Every Man for Himself’ is a well rounded album with some hard hitting tracks and some more chill ones.  This is going to be their Third release and ‘Every Man for Himself’ will show how their music has evolved to this point. Like with their past albums,  Diamond & Glass and People’s Radio, they named it after the song that best embodies the album. If you haven’t already Listened to their title track I’ve posted it below for your listening pleasure.  If you haven’t already checked out Archnemesis  now’s the time.  They will be back in Dallas this Fall.  The sky is the limit for this Electro-soul duo. Cheers!
